Wood [WoodCel Club]
Products made fully or partly from the refined wood-based cellulose fiber sourced from sustainably managed forests. This fiber has been regarded as highly sustainable material because nurturing forests has much less impact on environments and occupational health and safety than cultivating cotton in terms of water shortage, biodiversity loss, contamination of groundwater by fertilizers and so on.
It is made 100% or partially from refined cellulose fiber from the pulp of trees grown in managed and renewable mountain forests.
Since the trees are grown in forests without using fields, they do not affect the food supply. Forest trees do not require fertilizers or pesticides and grow in their natural environment, making them the best sustainable material available.
Unlike rayon made by the viscose process, it is strong enough to be used as hotel linen. It is characterized by high water absorbency, soft texture, and elegant luster unique to cellulose. It can be said to be the best product in line with the purpose of sustainability, which is to protect the earth and to connect it to the future.
